Al treilea album al violonistei noastre preferate se numeste Freedom si a aparut in anul 2004, lansat alaturi de colegele ei de trupa Amadeus Electric Quartet.

Dupa cum v-am obisnuit, in fiecare marti va reamintesc de cate o melodie a trupei Amadeus Electric Quartet si Alexandrei Violin. Saptamana aceasta a venit randul piesei cu numarul trei, Over the Clouds, de pe al treilea album al trupei Amadeus Electric Quartet alaturi der Alexandra Violin, Freedom, lansat in anul 2004.

Over the clouds este o melodie care te surprinde, o piesa care te indeamna sa visezi cu ochii deschisi, un cantec creat pentru a te binedispune.

The third song off the Amadeus Electric Quartet and Alexandra Violin third album, Freedom, is called Over the Clouds. This is the only album with the cellist Alina Dinica, who left the band to pursue a classical training.  

This is a feel good, uplifting song, making you feel like you are walking on clounds.

Concert Trupa Amadeus & Alexandra Violin - Promovare album Freedom 2004

Continuand seria saptamanala de pe acest blog, Throw Back Thursday, astazi am placerea sa va prezint cateva imagini rare cu trupa, din perioada de promovare al albumului Freedom, lansat in anul 2004.

Componenta trupei de atunci era:

Alexandra Violin (Chise) - vioara

Andreea Runceanu - vioara

Cristina Bujor (Filotti) - pian si

Alina Dinica - violoncel

In anul 2004 Gratiela a decis sa paraseasca grupul, fiind inlocuita de catre violoncelista Alina Dinica, care  si-a facut debutul live chiar in Cipru. in aceasta formula au lansat videoclipul piesei Freedom (extras de pe albumul cu acelasi nume).

Alina a ales sa urmareasca o cariera in domeniul muzicii clasice si sa-si desavarseasca studiile la clasa de violoncel a Academiei de Muzica din Milano (http://www.fanclub.ro/vedete/amadeus-58/biografie.html).

As part of the Throw Back Thursday series I'm excited to share with you some very rare pictures of the Amadeus band and Alexandra Violin. Here are some photos from their Freedom tour, back in 2004!

The girl playing the cello is Alina Dinica, and she joined the band in 2004, replacing Gratiela. Alina was part of Amadeus until 2007, when she decided to continue with her classical training in Milan.
